Who We Are

CleanPower was founded in 1969 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. CleanPower began as a carpet cleaning company and was Wisconsin’s first carpet cleaning company that focused entirely on commercial clients. Within a few years, CleanPower began to offer other services to our commercial clients. Our service offering continued to expand and CleanPower has since become a comprehensive janitorial contractor.

After 50 years in business, CleanPower has continued to expand our service options and service territory. Our growth has been driven by our clients: we have been able to start work in new areas based on customer interest and recommendations from current clients. We are proud that our growth as an organization has been motivated by the loyalty and trust of our customer base. We now operate several branch offices throughout Wisconsin and the surrounding areas, employing over 1,200 employees and cleaning more than 25 million square feet daily. We service over 2,000 customer locations and generate more than $32M in annual revenue.

In 2000, CleanPower was acquired by Marsden Services, a national facility service provider. Since acquiring CleanPower, Marsden has acquired several other operating companies and grown to become one of the largest privately owned service providers in the United States. As part of the Marsden family, CleanPower benefits from the resources of a large organization while still maintaining our focus in the local Wisconsin and Illinois markets.
