CleanPower is proud to be Wisconsin’s first building service contractor to earn the ISSA’s CIMS-GB Certification under our EmeraldSolutions program.
CIMS-GB (Cleaning Industry Management Standard – Green Building) is a cleaning management standard that defines the processes, procedures and supporting documents that are universally recognized as the features of a well-managed, successful cleaning operation with a proven commitment to sustainability. Administered jointly by ISSA (Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association) and AICS (American Institute for Cleaning Sciences) it has been likened to ISO certification for the cleaning industry. The CIMS assessment covers five areas of best management practices: Quality Systems, Service Delivery, Human Resources, Health/Safety and Environmental Stewardship, and Management Commitment. The Green Building designation is the optional sixth dimension of CIMS. CleanPower was certified with honors after an assessment by a third party auditor. The auditor spent several days reviewing information, interviewing employees and clients, validating documentation and visiting job sites to verify compliance with the standard.
