The Green SealŪ Environmental Standard

CleanPower is proud to be the first building service contractor in the United States to become Green Seal 42 Certified under our EmeraldSolutions program.

Green Seal's (GS) environmental standard (GS-42) certifies green cleaning programs that protect human health and the environment. It provides a clear, reliable tool for purchasers to determine which services are environmentally responsible. The standard specifies green chemicals, supplies and equipment as well as cleaning procedures and mandates employee training and communication with building owners and occupants. It requires that a building-specific Green Cleaning Plan be implemented. The non-profit organization conducts on-site audits to verify compliance with the standard.

Our EmeraldSolutions program includes:

• "Green Label" equipment designed to ensure soil removal and dust containment
• Specialized staff training in green processes
